First National Merchant Solutions Adds Discover® Network Card Acquiring to Expanding Product Portfolio.
First National Merchant Solutions, one of the nation's leading payment processors, today announced an expansion of its product portfolio. In addition to acquiring Visa® and MasterCard® transactions, First National Bank of Omaha will begin acquiring Discover Network card transactions to offer processing customers a single-point of contact for contracts, service and settlement.
Under an agreement reached by First National Bank of Omaha and Discover Financial Services LLC, a business unit of Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), First National Merchant Solutions will add Discover Network card processing to its suite of credit and debit card processing services. First National Merchant Solutions plans to offer the consolidated processing program to customers in 2007.
"We are always looking to add services that simplify processes for our customers and provide them the flexibility and security they need to manage and build their business," said Diana Mehochko, president of First National Merchant Solutions. "As a direct acquirer of Discover Network card transactions, we can offer our customers a consolidated payment solution that is built on the same reliable level of service we provide with our other processing products."
First National Merchant Solutions offers merchants complete credit card processing via a state-of-the-art processing platform. Transactions are acquired, routed and settled, safely and securely – allowing merchants to offer convenient payment options to their in-store and online customers.

Gordmans® extends processing agreement with First National Merchant Solutions®.
Gordmans, a leading Midwest retailer and First National Merchant Solutions have extended their 18-year relationship. Gordmans will continue to use First National Merchant Solutions' credit and debit card processing services to accept consumer payments at more than 60 stores in 15 states.

First National Authorizations has been upgraded to support the following real time features for MasterCard prepaid cards:
- POS Balance Inquiry. To increase cardholders' convenient use of prepaid cards, POS balance inquiry has been added. The balance inquiry can be generated at the point of sale with or without a purchase of goods or services.
- Partial Amount Approvals. You now have the ability to receive partial amount approvals for prepaid cards and accept split-tender payments rather than having to decline a sale.
Merchants currently utilizing First National Authorizations will require modifications to their current payment applications. To implement these changes highlighted above please contact your National Account Manager or Technical Support Analyst at First National Merchant Solutions at 800-228-2443.

Bill Me Later® Payment Solutions Now Available From First National Merchant Solutions.
OMAHA , Neb. , February 23, 2006 - First National Merchant Solutions, one of the nation's leading payment processors, today announced the addition of Bill Me Later® and the Bill Me Later Preferred Account to its portfolio of merchant processing solutions.
